A shooting incident from July 2, 2006 is back to haunt rapper Plies.

The Florida and his entourage were allegedly involved in a shooting at West Nightclub in Gainesville, Florida. They were said to have shot into the crowd after a dispute over stage time.

Five years later, five plaintiffs are reportedly suing the 35-year-old and his brother Ronnell Lawrence Lavatte, also known as Big Gates, for $10 million, according to AllHipHop.com.

Plies’ attorney Robert A. Rush tells the website, “The plaintiffs’ claims against my client continue to be without merit, we look forward to having this resolved in a court of justice.”
