Move over Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, 50 Cent has a new collaborator in the works — Chaka Khan.

The two revealed an upcoming duet on Sunday (December 18) during the taping of "VH1 Divas."

“We’re working together. We’re working on a project now,” 50 Cent told MTV News.

It seems the two, who to the outsider seem to run in very different circles, one soul and the other hip hop, came together quite easily.

“I reached out to her and made sure I could actually come with her tonight, hang out with her,” 50 Cent said of escorting Ms. Khan to "VH1 Divas." “You know you gotta stand next to ‘the fire’ to keep warm. You see what I’m saying? It’s getting cold out here. It’s winter time."

All jokes taping Khan's 1984 hit "Through The Fire" aside, the G-Unit general seemed genuinely excited for their upcoming work.

"It’s really exciting to keep yourself in company around people that have the same artistic integrity that you wanna be associated with,” he said.
