Is it just us or was 2011 a particularly crazy year in music? Maybe there's something in the liquor, or maybe it's because stars still haven't realized that drinking and tweeting don't mix. We don't know, but we do know it was pretty darn entertaining. In the above video, BET assembled a team of outspoken experts to speak about the year's most cray-cray moments in music.
By all accounts, Gucci Mane may actually be missing a few marbles, so it's no surprise he was behind some of the year's most bizarre incidents. In April, he was arrested for pushing a woman he met at the mall out of a moving vehicle. But the literal icing on top was the massive ice-cream tattoo Gucci got inked to his face back in January. "You don't really know what he's talking about anway, so the face tattoo is not really gonna hinder his reach," comedian Damien Lemon said.
Less funny was T.I. getting put back in prison after taking a luxurious tour bus to an Atlanta halfway house toward the end of his 10-month sentence for probation violations. "He's a road warrior," Parlour magazine's Hillary Crosley told BET.com. "He just goes in and out, but he has this uncanny ability to come back semi on top."
Hopefully T.I. and everyone else behind bars got themselves copies of the explicit Amber Rose pics that leaked throughout the year to help pass the time. We imagine they'd brighten up the wall of any prison cell quite a bit. "Amber Rose has no reason to be upset about those pictures being leaked," media personality Beverly Smith said.
Radio host Angela Yee was a little less thrilled. "I feel like we've seen her naked so many times that I don't even bother to take a look anymore," she told BET.com.
