The rapping duo earn big in Dubai at a Sweet Sixteen party.
It’s known celebrities make big bucks doing private performances and appearances. From Beyoncé to Michael and Janet Jackson, it really pays to be a star.
Jay-Z and Kanye West definitely got paid. According to MTV.com, the duo raked in $6 million dollars for performing at a Sweet Sixteen Party. The show was a gift from Sheikh Mansour, the owner of the Manchester Football Club, to his niece.
The fee in part included flying the Watch the Throne 2012 Grammy nominees out to Dubai.
Coming up in February, Jay-Z will perform two back-to-back benefit shows at Carnegie Hall in New York, the first ever hip hop centered performance series.
