50 Cent Apologizes to Interscope Records
After blasting his label Interscope Records last week for mishandling his forthcoming studio album, 50 Cent took back much of what he said in a public apology on Sunday.
Once finding out that a computer glitch caused the leak of material from the album, the quick-tempered MC took to his Twitter page to back down on his previous claim that he had “lost all faith” in the label that signed him back in 2002.
“Discovered that a computer glitch leaked my song. Sorry to the team at interscope for over reacting!” he tweeted. “I put a lot in to this project but I don't care if it ever comes out. Jimmy iovine has been like a mentor for me. I just want to stay friends.”
As previously reported, this is just the latest episode in Fif’s long-running battle with Interscope over the release of his still untitled fifth studio album.
