Harajuku Barbie is set to make her Grammy debut.
Nicki Minaj is sure to make a loud entrance at this year’s Grammy Awards, and not just because of her sure-to-be crazy outfit. Minaj, the most followed rapper on Twitter, has just been announced as a performer for the music industry's biggest night, where she'll also be up for a number of awards.
The Grammys first announced the news on Twitter: "Happy to welcome @nickiminaj as a first-time performer on our GRAMMY Awards stage on Feb. 12!" The evening's lineup of performers so far includes Nicki, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, The Foo Fighters, Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson.
Minaj, who is nominated for Best New Artist as well as Best Rap Album for her debut, Pink Friday, is becoming something of a staple at these awards shows. Previously, she performed at the Billboard Music Awards, the AMAs and the Grammy nominations concert.
