Bruno Mars Cleared in Drug Case
Bruno Mars is free and clean, having succeeded in getting his 2010 cocaine arrest stricken from his record. Las Vegas prosecutors have dropped charges against the hit singer/songwriter after he completed his end of a plea deal.
Mars performed 230 hours of community service — he was only required to do 200 hours — and finished a series of substance abuse classes as part of the deal. The 25-year-old artist's lawyer told TMZ: "Bruno earned the dismissal of his charge. He exceeded the expectations of the court in both his service to the community and his counseling."
In 2010, Mars was arrested after a Hard Rock Hotel employee caught him snorting coke in a bathroom stall.
