Timbaland and Missy Elliott Plan Solo Albums for June
Timbaland and Missy Elliott were an unstoppable tag team in the late '90s and early 2000s, and this summer the dynamic duo may ride again. In an interview with MTV News, Timbo recently announced that he and Missy are both planning to drop solo albums this June.
"Me and Missy are both coming with our albums at the same time, and it will be in June," the super producer declared.
Timbaland's last album Shock Value II was released in December 2009, and it's been seven years since Missy droppedThe Cookbook.
According to Timbaland, both artists are preparing to shoot videos for their respective lead singles.
"Right now, we're preparing to get both our videos, our first singles, shot kinda at the same time," Tim said. "We want to do it as a movement."
Last year Missy and Timbo collaborated on the Internet single "Take Ur Clothes Off," causing much speculation about, and clamoring for, a possible reunion. Now it seems that, if all goes according to plan, that dream will soon become a reality.
