Robin Thicke Arrested for Marijuana Possession

Robin Thicke was busted in New York City for smoking in parked car.

R&B singer Robin Thicke was arrested in Manhattan this afternoon [Feb. 17] for smoking weed while sitting in a parked Cadillac Escalade.
"He wasn't driving," a police source told the New York Daily News. "He was sitting in the car. He was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him."
Thicke, 34, was reportedly amiable with his arresting officers, taking the time even to pose for photos with them. The California native will likely be hit with a minor charge for his offense.
Neither Thicke nor his wife, actress Paula Patton, have yet to make a public statement about the arrest. In fact, Patton has since tweeted about her excitement as she prepares to attend the NAACP Awards ceremony tonight in Los Angeles.

"Getting Ready for tonight #NAACPawards excited for my #jumpingthebroom Family XOXO," she wrote an hour or so after the arrest.
Thicke is currently promoting his fifth album, Love After War.
