50 Cent and Rick Ross to Perform on Same Stage

Rap Rivals 50 Cent and Rick Ross are both billed for a summer concert in Switzerland.

It was only a matter of time before their paths crossed. Rival rappers 50 Cent and Rick Ross once had one of the most spirited rap beefs in recent memory, now the pair is set to grace the same stage at a music festival in Switzerland this summer.

According to Hip Hop Wired, both 50 and Ross are scheduled to perform at the star-studded Open Air Frauenfeld festival in Switzerland along with a host of other big name hip hop artists like Nas, J. Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, Tinie Tempah and A$AP Rocky. Young Money's Drake has been named as the headliner.

The Queens megastar and Miami rap boss famously went back and forth exchanging jabs over the Internet and on wax in 2009 after Ross took some shots at Fif on the record "Mafia Music." 50 went as far as using Ross' baby mother to smear the rapper as part of his retaliation.

This past November, 50 downplayed the nasty feud with Ross, claiming that he doesn't think anything that happened between them was all that remarkable and explaining why he feels Ross initiated it.

"When you look back at the entire scenario, you say 'What was the motivation of it? Where did it start?," questioned 50. "He says it started because I looked at him the wrong way. That just means he wanted to compete, he wanted to move up, he wanted to create an awareness for himself, and he did it."

"Over time, if you personalize everything that is said in each competition," he continued. "This is why they changed the terminology from 'battling' to 'beefing.' It was always that battling was a part of the culture; they didn't do that until Tupac and Biggie Smalls situation," he said. "That's when it became taboo to actually mention an artist's name."

The concert will take place July 6-8, 2012.
