Karrueche Tran is reportedly receiving death threats from Rih Rih supporters.
The crazy love triangle between Chris Brown, his current flame Karrueche Tran, and his ex-girlfriend Rihanna is starting to get quite messy.
According to TMZ, Tran has beefed up on security after some of Rihanna’s crazed fans have threatened to kill her. A source close to the aspiring model told TMZ that Rih Rih’s fans (known as the Navy) have been sending disturbing messages like, “I hope Rihanna beat the dog s*** outa yo a**!" ... "Watch yo back" ... and "I will kill you.”
In fear of her safety, Karrueche, who has been dating Brown since 2010, now travels with a member of Breezy’s security team when she heads out in public.
Stuff started to hit fan between the trio within the last two months when it was widely speculated that Brown and his former love Rihanna were on speaking terms after their tumultuous break in 2009. Gossip rags began to spin rumors of Karrueche and Rihanna getting into physical confrontations over the Grammy Award-winning singer, but none of that could be confirmed.
However, when Breezy and Rih Rih did make their reunion official last month by recording two new songs together (Brown blessed the remix to Rih’s “Birthday Cake,” while the pop diva returned the favor on CB’s “Turn Up the Music), it seemed to spark a social media feud between the ladies.
Last week, Rihanna stirred the pot when she seemingly dissed Karrueche by posting a Twitter pic of a bag of rice cakes wearing sunglasses ... with the caption, “Ima a make u my b****.”
The joke was seen as a racially insensitive insult aimed at Karrueche, who is Vietnamese.
Throughout the whole ordeal, Brown has reportedly told his current love not to worry about his rekindled friendship with his old flame.
