Things have not been going smoothly for Young Jeezy north of the border. After two consecutive nights of having his shows ended by gunfire, Canadian authorities have canceled his Friday night gig in Montreal.

The Atlanta rapper gave fans the bad news via Twitter.

“Due 2 a chain of events beyond my control, Canadian authorities have decided to cancel my Montreal show! Nothin but Love & respect for Canada,” Jeezy tweeted.

The Snowman was scheduled to appear at Montreal’s L’Olympia, but organizers of the event pulled the plug on his performance due to security concerns. The venue’s website has instructed fans how to retrieve ticket refunds.

As previously reported, a Jeezy show in Toronto on Wednesday (April 4) was canceled before he even took the stage after shots were fired inside the venue. One victim was hospitalized after the incident.

The following night more gun violence erupted at another show in Toronto, this time two victims were rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
