Beyoncé is a role model for millions of young women around the world, so it can be easy to forget that the pop star and new mom has role models of her own. On her new website, Bey has cast the spotlight on someone she calls the "ULTIMATE example of a truly strong African-American woman,” Michelle Obama.

In a hand-written letter to the first lady, Bey says she admires Mrs. Obama for her ability to show grace under fire.

"No matter the pressure and the stress of being under the microscope, she's humble, loving and sincere," the "Who Run the World (Girls)" singer wrote. “I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.”

Read the letter in full on Beyonce's website. Previously, Bey and Michelle linked up for the first lady's Let's Move fitness campaign, for which Beyoncé recorded a remix of her single "Get Me Bodied" called "Move Your Body."
