Rick Ross pulled out of another concert last weekend, but this time the rapper's management says it wasn't due to health issues.
The Teflon Don had been scheduled to perform multiple dates in Australia this month as a headliner for the annual music festival Supafest. However, according to a representative from the rapper's camp, the Bawse's appearance fell through due to "unfulfilled contractual obligations" with regards to payment on the part of the festival's organizers.
“Ross was looking forward to touching the people of Australia,” the rep told MTV's Rap Fix. “This event is one of biggest urban festivals in Australia and he is very disappointed that he will not be performing. It is unfortunate that the payment arrangements did not meet contractual deadlines.”
Ross is the latest in a string of high profile rappers to back out of Supafest this year. Recently, Diddy and Missy Elliott also removed themselves from the bill.
Earlier this month, Ross pulled out of two Easter weekend shows in Houston and Guyana. Organizers of both events said the Maybach Music chief had been rushed to the hospital in a medical emergency. Ross suffered a pair of well documented seizures last year, which he said were due to exhaustion.
