Rih Rih offers proof of her illness with hospital photo.
Rihanna couldn’t bring a doctor’s note for missing dress rehearsal at SNL this past weekend, so she offered up the next best thing. After her no-show at the prep session sparked a controversy that spilled into the public Monday, Rih Rih is backing up her side of the story with new photo evidence.
On Tuesday, Rih Rih rebuffed claims that she faked a sickness to get out of rehearsal by tweeting a photo of herself with an IV in her arm.
The "We Found Love" singer was reportedly persona non grata among producers and staff Saturday for missing the final dress rehearsal right before the live show. But Rihanna had said she was simply too sick to rehearse, and instead saved her energy and voice for the live show.
Still, some at SNL weren't buying the sickness angle, saying that the 23-year-old singer looked fine walking around backstage before the show.
Perhaps the sight of Rihanna on the mend will in turn help mend those relationships.
