The drama continues in the courtroom battle over custody of Usher's two sons, Usher V and Naviyd. Earlier this month a judge ordered the R&B singer and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster, to work out a temporary custody agreement or he'd make the decision himself in the courtroom. The pair, who currently share custody of their two boys, is heading to court because Tameka wants them fulltime while Usher is complaining that he's not getting his fair share.
The bitter battle began late last year when Tameka filed an appeal to the courts to have Usher tested for illicit drug use. She accused him of popping pills and other dangerous substances around the kids and is using this as justification for her claim of full custody.
Although Usher refused to take the test on grounds that Tameka's demands were "frivolous and unfounded," the court hearing began early this month and with it many more scandalous accusations, nasty name calling and the couple's dirty laundry have been revealed.
On May 5, Foster denied a claim that she threatened to kill Usher, but she did admit to saying "I will f**k you up." She claims that she said it out of anger because of how embarrassed she was that Usher brought his new boo to her children's school, which is located in what she described as a tight-knit community.
On May 21, Usher struck back, painting a picture of a belligerent Tameka throwing plates of food and spitting on his girlfriend, according to reports from TMZ.
"I'm gonna kick your ass," Usher quoted Foster as saying. "B--ch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house?"
And then, "She continued to spit," he added. "At this point she pulled the door open and tried to swing at her [Usher's girlfriend]."
In an even nastier turn of events, in cross examinations Foster's lawyer accused Usher of sleeping with one of the bridesmaids at the couple's wedding. Although Usher's lawyer quickly objected to the question and the star never had to answer, the accusation was a bombshell in itself.
Usher has certainly got his hands full. In addition to this case, he's also working on promotion of his latest album, Looking for Myself, which is the followup to 2010's Raymond vs. Raymond, and is due in stores June 11.
