After a much-deserved hiatus from recording, Beyoncé is headed back to the stage tonight and she's taking fans along for the journey.
The pop superstar debuted a new video series on her website today that gives an inside peek at "The Making of Revel," a four-night concert series at the new Revel Resort in Atlantic City.
In the video, Bey can be seen working on all aspects of the special comeback show with collaborators including the choreographer Frank Gatson Jr. and her husband Jay-Z.
"I feel a little nervous," Beyonce says in the video. "I'm enjoying being a mother. It's like going back to my old job. Its a little strange. But it's important that you don't loose yourself and you still have your own passions. I'm back to work. I'm back to business."
The "Countdown" singer was recently nominated six times for the 2012 BET Awards, including nods for Best Female R&B Artist and twice for Video of the Year. It's been five months since she welcomed her first child into the world, baby girl Blue Ivy Carter and she's as focused as ever.
The Revel performances continue from tonight through Monday, 5/28. Watch "The Making of Revel Pt. 1" below.
