Nicki Minaj cancels UK Show

Nicki Minaj gave her all for fans at her recent free show in New York, but unfortunately that didn't leave much for Barbz at the V Festival in the U.K. Minaj was forced to cancel her appearance at the fest, which took place over the weekend, due to damage sustained to her vocal chords.

Doctors reportedly advised the Young Money queen against performing the NYC show last Wednesday due to the vocal chord issue, but Minaj was determined to go ahead with the concert, which served as a consolation to fans who didn't get to see her headline Hot 97's Summer Jam in June. Minaj and the rest of Young Money pulled out of that festival in a now-infamous beef with radio personality Peter Rosenberg.

According to a rep for Minaj, the rapper-singer's strained vocal chords have since become worse, forcing her to step aside at V Fest. The annual two-day festival featured performances by The Killers, David Guetta, LMFAO and more.

In New York last Wednesday, Minaj went on for more than two hours, bringing out special guests including Drake, Lil Wayne and Foxy Brown.
