Game may be known as a hard-nosed rapper from Compton, but earlier this week he showed that he can be a good Samaritan, too. On his way home in L.A., the West Coast star helped save the life of an accident victim after spotting a man lying face down in the street.

The man had been in a bike crash and was beneath his own bicycle when Game saw him. The rapper pulled over and approached the man, who was unresponsive. At that point, Game called 911 and waited for the paramedics to arrive.

"I couldn’t just keep driving seeing a man in pain with his head on the ground," Game told TMZ. "If that was me in that situation, I'd want someone to do the same thing."

The man reportedly survived and is recovering from his injuries.

It's not the first time a rapper has played the role of sidewalk hero. In 2010, T.I. famously helped talk a suicidal man off a ledge in Atlanta.
