DMX is returning fire at Fredro Starr after the former Onyx rapper dissed him in a recent freestyle. Speaking to TMZ, X clowned Starr as a "midget" who "can't even reach my knee."
It all started when X went on The Breakfast Club and told the story of an incident years ago when he slept with a girl Starr was seeing. Allegedly, the "X Gon' Give It to Ya" rapper had been given the go ahead to approach the girl, but Starr later became bitter after the deed was done. Apparently taking issue with his one-time friend airing dirty laundry, Starr went on YouTube and dissed X in a freestyle.
"This n---a X talking s--t right now, If he ever try it again/He be in front of the firing pen/If his crew front, there be a lot of dying men/At the funeral, family and crying friends," he rhymed.
In response, DMX says Starr is just looking for attention.
"[He's] just trying to use me to get back in the music scene," X said.
"I am not worried about him ... All he is is a sitcom Moesha gangsta," he continued, referring to Starr's hit '90s television series with Brandy. "He should just stick to being a reality gangsta cause that's about all he's good for."
