Rapper is freed after arrest for violating probation.
Lil Scrappy is once again a free man after a recent scrape with the law landed him behind bars. The ATL rapper was recently released after being arrested on Monday in a police stop, TMZ reports.
Scrappy was apprehended for failing to check in with his probation offer last month. He also neglected to provide his P.O. with an updated home address. As a result of the offense, the Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star will be required to report to his P.O. more frequently, according to his lawyer.
Scrappy was placed on probation back in 2008 for weed and gun possession. He has claimed that his recent failure to check in with his probation officer was an honest mistake.
