Gunplay Turns Himself In for Armed Robbery

Gunplay turns himself in for armed robbery. The MMG rapper faces several additional charges in Florida as well.

Gunplay is doing time in a Florida jail cell after turning himself in on an armed robbery charge. The Maybach Music Group rapper voluntarily reported to prison on Wednesday morning, making good on a warrant for his arrest issued back in May, TMZ reports.
"Gunplay voluntarily surrendered today without incident," Gunplay's lawyer, Mike Grieco, said. "There's been an open arrest warrant for armed robbery with a firearm."

The "Power Circle" rapper made headlines recently after he got involved in a massive brawl with 50 Cent's entourage outside the BET Hip Hop Awards. The incident put the heat on Gunplay, who managed to evade authorities for months prior.
In addition to armed robbery, the 33-year-old rapper also faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault and a separate charge of being caught with a non-valid driver's license. He is currently being held without bond.
