The Three Six Mafia member was busted for possession of a taser.
Three Six Mafia rapper and Oscar winner DJ Paul was arrested in New York last night for possession of a taser. The rapper was walking down the street with an open beer in his hand when he was stopped by police, according to TMZ.
Paul, who was leaving a restaurant, reportedly informed the officers that he had a taser on his person. Since it's illegal to possess tasers in New York, the "Stay Fly" rapper was arrested for misdemeanor possession of a weapon in addition to breaking open-container laws.
Paul is currently being held at a NYC police station and was scheduled to go before a judge this morning.
