Nicki Minaj has been confirmed to perform at the American Music Awards, shortly after she secured the most nominations for the show, along with Rihanna. While vying for four potential awards, the pop rapper will hit the stage to her fans' delight, joining Taylor Swift and Linkin Park in the performer lineup.
The Young Money rapper is having a fantastic year with her Pink Friday fragrance expanding internationally and other major endorsement deals. She is also currently very busy taping the upcoming season of American Idol and touring in the U.K. Her latest single with Cassie, "The Boys," continues to climb the charts and position her as a music force. While she and Rihanna lead in nominations, Taylor Swift is also up for favorite female country artist and Linkin Park for alternative artist.
The 40th annual American Music Awards will broadcast live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on ABC, November 18.
