Video Shows Lil Reese Brutally Assaulting Female

The Chief Keef associate defends himself after disturbing clip surfaces.

A shocking video that shows Chicago rapper Lil Reese attacking a female acquaintance has surfaced.
In the clip, which was posted to WorldStarHipHop last night, the Chicago rapper, wearing a red hoody, is seen arguing with a woman who repeatedly says "Keep your hands to yourself" as the two exchange shoves. In response, Reese unleashes a flurry of punches, knocking the girl against a wall and to the ground. He then proceeds to kick and stomp the girl on the head and torso. Another man in a red hoodie joins in and punches her repeatedly as well. Only one person in the room, another woman, comes to the aid of the victim; other onlookers laugh and seem to cheer Reese on. The video can be seen here (Warning: It's disturbing).
Lil Reese quickly reacted to the video on Twitter, unapoloegetically insisting that it was filmed "years ago." "The haters tryna see a mf Dwn... Dey gotta b broke and bored wanna upload sum s--t from years ago damnn we winnin it's 2 late," he wrote. Reese also retweeted supportive messages from fans. "Dis wat doin betta den da next mf bring small s--t it's nothin time 2 turn Uppp f--k it."
It's the second time Reese — who signed to Def Jam earlier this year in the wake of his guest verse on close affiliate Chief Keef's hit single "I Don't Like" — has come under scrutiny in recent weeks. Last month, rival Chicago teen rapper Lil Jojo, who had dissed Reese, Keef and their GBE crew in songs, YouTube videos and tweets, was murdered. Some suspected Reese or his affilliates may have been to blame. "Damn I just wke up 2da jojo s--t f--k Em...." Reese wrote the morning after the murder.
There's no word yet on whether the incident will result in criminal charges — if it hasn't already — but stay tuned as this story develops.
