Keeping the stage fresh with up and coming talent, BET's Music Matters will host its monthly showcase in NYC tonight, November 13. The live performance will be hosted at Manhattan party spot SOB's, and feature Music Matters rappers Boola and Nakim along with upstart vocalists Rayvaughn and Ro James

Olamide will take the stage and serenade the crowd with his aural talents. Originally breaking into the music scene as the lead singer of the 1998 boys group Imajin, the artist has come a long way and is back with a more mature sound. Bringing his soul to every performance, he follows the motto, "The best expression is self-expression."

As usual, the showcase will be MC'd by Buttahman and Vanessa Fraction. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the first performance starts at 8:30 p.m. You must be 21+ to attend the event.
