Pitbull's "Don't Stop the Party" Video Banned in UK
Pitbull's latest video for his hit single "Don't Stop the Party" has rubbed United Kingdom TV regulators the wrong way. Perceived as too raunchy and attaining 25 violations, the video, featuring women dressed in bikinis, has been banned from televisions across the country, despite similar rap videos still getting airtime.
The Miami rapper is known for producing hit party songs that receive heavy praise from the international club circuit. "Don't Stop the Party" is off the celeb's seventh studio album, Global Warming, which will give fans more tracks of similar taste. While the record won't hit stores until November 19, Pit has released the track list and continues to give performances across the world.
The hip hop star is set to perform at the 40th annual American Music Awards, where he has been nominated to receive two awards, Favorite Male Artist Pop/Rock and Favorite Artist Latin. There's no word whether he'll perform the single to his U.K. banned video, but either way, he'll be bringing a party to the stage.
