Chris Brown, Swizz Beatz to Perform at American Music Awards
Chris Brown and Swizz Beatz have been added to the stellar performance list for the 40th annual American Music Awards. The super producer and pop star will be joined by Ludacris for high energy performance of Swizz's latest single "Everyday Birthday." The trio are the newest stars added to the performance line up that already includes Nicki Minaj, Usher and Pitbull.
The November 18 ceremony will feature a new award category, electronic dance music, in addition to the traditional pop/rock, country, soul/R&B, alternative, rap/hip-hop, adult contemporary, Latin and contemporary inspirational. Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are leading the pack with four nominations each and other artists nominated include Brown, Pitbull, J. Cole and Drake.
The AMAs will air live on ABC from the LA Nokia Theatre at 8 p.m. EST.
