Chris Brown Returns to Twitter

Pop star doesn't send a tweet, but he does share a photo of Rihanna on Instagram.

The wait is over. After an epic war of tweets with comedian Jenny Johnson that caused him to shut down his Twitter account last week, Chris Brown reactivated his account on Sunday morning. Brown ended the six day hiatus, but he wasn't very active. Though his more than 11 million followers were quick to jump back in the fold with him they are still awaiting Brown's first tweet.

In a recent interview with XXL magazine Brown talked about his use of Twitter over the years.

"I haven't been as mature and thought out in the past, so, me growing now, it’s showing my progression," he said. "I used to use my Twitter account to vent, but now I mostly use it for marketing and promotions. Even if the media asks me something, if it's cool then it's, 'What’s up?' But if it’s anything that's too negative, I don’t care to respond."
While the pop star was hush on Twitter he was far more active on his Instagram page, where he has been doing much of his communicating with fans over the past seven days. Much like Rihanna did when she posted racy images of the two on several occasions last week, Brown shared an image of the couple together over the weekend. In the photo the two stars are seen posing together with the caption, "What would music today sound like if these kids didn't exist?"

While we can only imagine the variety of responses to that question, the comedian that sparked Brown’s ire, Jenny Johnson, knows fully well what her confrontation with the "Don't Judge" star has done for her. Johnson penned a post on GQ.com about the incident and took responsibility for starting the whole ordeal.

"I didn't expect my name to be in entertainment news, but it is, and it is because I started it," wrote Johnson. "I won't say I regret what I did, but I will say I have learned from it. I chose to turn a lazy Sunday watching football with my husband into a total s---storm."
