Series to follow lives of hip hop spawns of Dr. Dre, Eazy E and Jam Master Jay.
Descendants of the seminal rap groups Run-DMC and N.W.A. may soon get their own reality show.
Sons of rappers from both groups— including Dr. Dre's son Curtis Young, Eazy E's son, Eric Lynn Wright Jr., aka Lil Eazy E, MC Ren's son Anthony Dunbar, Jam Master Jay's son Jason Mizell and E-40’s offspring Droop-E— are collectively shopping a reality show about their lives to major networks, TMZ reports. All the men are in their 20s.
The show is said to follow its stars as they attempt to find their own path while wrestling with the shadows of their fathers. It is produced by D'Extra Wiley of the '90s R&B group II D Extreme.
Although the series hasn't yet found a home, the production company behind it is reportedly contemplating beginning shooting as early as next month.
In 2009, Rev Run's daughters Vanessa and Angela Simmons starred in the MTV reality series "Daddy's Girls."
