The Houston MC was arrested after cops initially pulled him over for speeding.
Looks like this may be the coldest winter ever for Lil Flip. He was arrested during the early morning hours of Dec. 26 in Louisiana after authorities initially pulled him over for speeding in a 2010 Dodge Challenger through the DeSoto Parish on Interstate 49. Cops allegedly discovered marijuana and a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle.
Both Flip, the driver, and occupant Olanza Sanders were arrested. Flip (born Wesley Eric Weston) was charged with speeding, a third-offense possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.
Sanders, who was charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, posted bail and is free on $25,000 bond. Meanwhile, the 31-year old rapper is currently being detained at the DeSoto Detention Center after failing to post $35,000 bond.
