Couple will not wait until delivery to find out if it’s a boy or girl.
Since news broke that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are expecting a child together, one question has been on everyone's mind: boy or girl? As Kim is reportedly only about 12 weeks pregnant, not even doctors can answer that question just yet. But the sex of the baby won't remain a mystery much longer — at least not to the parents. According to reports, Kim and Kanye want to know the sex as soon as is medically possible, which is typically around week 16.
Time will tell whether or not the couple will share the news with the rest of us or if a close friend will leak the fetus' gender as Kelly Rowland did of Blue Ivy Carter in 2011.
Whatever sex it is, Kimye reportedly plan to keep the baby's life private, despite its mom's status as one of the world's most notorious reality stars. The couple is said to have agreed to nix the idea of any reality shows involving the baby, including a "giving birth special."
For now, the baby bump, at least, is fair game. A pregnant Kim will play a prominent role in future episodes of the popular Kardashian family reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
