Photographer Killed in Pursuit of Justin Bieber

Paparazzo was hit by car as he snapped photos of singer’s Ferrari.

Everybody wants a piece of Justin Bieber, but pursuing the pop star has cost one paparazzo the ultimate price. Last night, a celebrity photographer in Los Angeles was killed when a car struck him while he was attempting to snap photos of Bieber's Ferrari, TMZ reports.

Bieber's car, which was being driven by someone else at the time, was pulled over for speeding when the pap, identified as Chris Guerra, crossed a busy street in order to get close for a photo. The police officer on the scene shooed him away and, as he crossed back across the street, the photographer was struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle.

Guerra, who was reportedly following Bieber all day, trailed the white Ferrari as it left the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Unfortunately, the pop star was not even in the car at the time of the tragic accident.

The LAPD is investigating the incident, which reportedly did not involve any drugs or alcohol.

UPDATE:

TMZ has identified rapper Lil Twist as the person driving Bieber’s Ferrari at the time of the incident leading to the death of the photographer snapping shots of the vehicle. The 19-year-old Young Money artist was hanging out with Biebs when he left the Hollywood hotel in the pop star's high-powered ride. Though Biebs was not present at the time of the accident that killed the photog, he issued a statement offering his condolences.

"While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim," said Bieber in statement.
