Singer avoids arrest, but receives citations for infractions.
After a breakout year in 2012, Frank Ocean has gotten off to a shaky start in 2013. California police popped the Odd Future crooner on New Year's Eve for marijuana possession and speeding.
According to TMZ, Ocean was pulled over for doing 90 in a 65. During the traffic stop police detected the scent of weed emanating from the luxury BMW. Upon searching the vehicle they found a small bag of marijuana in the car. They also discovered that the singer was driving with a suspended license.
Though he was not arrested on the scene Ocean was cited for marijuana possession, driving with a suspended license and for having tinted windows. Though the police took the "Bad Religion" singer's driver's license, they were kind enough to give him a ride home for his troubles.
