Woman Charged With Sending Death Threats to Yung Teddy

Suspect sent threatening texts to rapper leading up to his death.

A woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of Yung Teddy, the 23-year-old Atlanta rapper who was slain after receiving death threats last week.

Police say Yachari Kiyana Miller sent the death threats in the form of text messages within 24 hours of the time Teddy, born Justin Mitchell, was shot to death in his home.

Miller has been charged with one count of "terroristic threats and acts," which is a felony, and has been held without bond since last Friday, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Among the threats Miller allegedly sent to Teddy are "You a dead man walking" and "This is your year to die."

Two other perpetrators, both Black men between the ages of 20 and 23, are suspected of having carried out the killing. Cobb County police are still searching for the suspects.
