Shawty Lo Starts Petition to Bring Back All My Babies' Mamas

The Atlanta rapper fights to save controversial reality show.

Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo is not going down without a fight. After coming under fire for his widely criticized reality show All My Babies' Mamas, the father of 11 has spent the better part of the last month squabbling and defending his parenthood special. Originally, Oxygen had plans to air the one-off segment this spring, but announced yesterday plans to scrap the show.

Buckling under pressure from a petition started by best-selling author Sabrina Lamb and ColorOfChange.org director Rashad Robinson, who gathered nearly 40,000 signatures against the show, the network decided to move on rather than rock the boat with viewers. Still, the Bankhead rapper retaliated with his own petition today.

Despite the negative perception associated with the program, the proud father has always maintained the he’s a good dad and provides for his family.

"Outta all the 10 baby mamas, I just have problems outta one,” says Shawty Lo previously told MTV News. "If I wasn't taking care of my kids then you would really dog me out, but I'm taking care of my kids, providing for my family.
