Guerilla Black, the rapper from Compton, has been arrested in Los Angeles on charges of credit card fraud.

Black, 35, was taken into custody yesterday by local police as well as members of the United States Secret Service, the LA Times reports. The credit card scam reportedly crossed international borders into Switzerland, Nigeria and England, with perpetrators, including Black, raking in upwards of $20,000 per month.

Black, born Charles Tony Williamson, was on pre-trial release for unrelated fraud charges at the time of his arrest. In July 2012 he was arrested for allegedly buying thousands of stolen credit card numbers.

Prior to all his legal troubles, Black made a splash in 2004 with his debut album Guerilla City. The heavy-set, dark-skinned baritone drew sometimes unfavorable comparisons to the Notorious B.I.G.
