Atlanta rap star Future has amicably reached a settlement in a child support case after a DNA test proved he is indeed the father of a 10-year-old boy.

According to TMZ, a Georgia judge signed off on the case once the test results confirmed with 99.9 percent certainty that Future fathered a child with an Atlanta woman named Jessica Smith in 2001.

Now that the child’s paternity is definite, Future has agreed to be legally recognized as the father and will pay $1,662 a month in child support. He will also foot the bill ($889) for the DNA test.

The "Same Damn Time" rapper has been in the news as of late due to a rumored romance with R&B singer Ciara.
