Beyoncé Gives Lights Out Performance at Super Bowl

Destiny's Child reunion highlights electrifying halftime show.

Beyoncé silenced her haters once again on Sunday with arguably the greatest Super Bowl halftime show ever. The music superstar left no doubt as to her singing talents, belting out hit songs from her endless catalog of chart-toppers.

Most people in attendance at the Super Dome in New Orleans and the millions watching at home likely forgot there was an impressive football game going on when Bey took the stage dressed in al black. The Grammy Award winning songstress opened up her 13-minute set by teasing fans with a few lines from "Love On Top," before singing her ubiquitous hit "Crazy in Love."

If anyone was disappointed Jay-Z did not make an appearance during "Crazy in Love," Bey more than made up for it when Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined her for a Destiny's Child reunion. To the audience's delight Rowland and Williams exploded from underneath the stage to join Bey in performing "Bootylicious." The trio went on to perform "Independent Woman" and work out some polished dance steps to "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)."

Beyoncé expressed gratitude to the audience telling them, "Thank you for this moment. God bless y'all," before closing the set with a thrilling rendition of "Halo." So powerful was her performance that the lights in the Super Dome went out moments into the beginning of the second half of the game. Yes, there was a game being played. The blackout lasted 34 minutes and inspired this tweet from Jay-Z

"Lights out!!!!Any questions?," he wrote from his @S_C_ Twitter account.

Nope. Not tonight.
