The lineup for the 2013 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has been announced, and it’s a doozy.
Kendrick Lamar, Nas, A$AP Rocky and Wu-Tang Clan will be playing at the massive four-day concert in Tennessee, along with surprise performer R. Kelly. The announcement means a busy month for Kendrick and R. Kelly, who are also headlining the BET Experience in L.A. at the end of the month.
Other hip hop notables set to rock Bonnaroo include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Big K.R.I.T., araabMUZIK, Killer Mike, Action Bronson and Earl Sweatshirt.
The rap-heavy roster will join headliners Paul McCartney, Bjork, Wilco, Mumford & Sons and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, helping confirm Bonnaroo’s reputation as one of the biggest music festivals in the world. Last year, Kendrick Lamar, The Roots, Black Star and Yelawolf played the festival, which was headlined by Radiohead and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Jay-Z and Stevie Wonder headlined in 2010, followed by Eminem and Lil Wayne in 2011.
Bonnaroo is slated to take place in Manchester, Tennessee, from June 13 to June 16. Tickets will be available on February 23 at noon EST over at Bonnaroo.com, where you can also see the full lineup.
