Chris Brown Admits to Relationship With Rihanna

"We are really happy,” says Brown of his romance with Rihanna.

At Elton John’s 21st annual Oscar viewing party, Chris Brown finally spilled the beans about his relationship with Rihanna and admitted for the first time to the press that they are definitely back together. The New York Post’s Page Six caught up with Brown at the lavish event where he said, "We are really happy. We are back together. She is the most beautiful girl in the world. But I'm sad she couldn't be here tonight; she is rehearsing for her tour."

This news was a long time coming considering the couple has been making public appearances together at many major events recently. Their very public love affair started Christmas Day while canoodling courtside at a NY Knicks vs. LA Lakers game. Earlier this month they had side by side seats at the Grammys and most recently they were seen on a Hawaiian getaway for the Barbadian beauty’s 25th birthday.

The musical twosome have had a  tumultuous relationship since Brown’s assault on Rihanna in 2009, which left Rih Rih with bruises and a busted lip. Brown also spoke with U.K. publication the Mirror on Oscar night where he said, "That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake."

Although many seem to be embracing Brown's and Rihanna’s rekindled romance, it still seems unlikely that everyone will forget that infamous night anytime soon. In bad taste Oscar host Seth MacFarlane made a joke comparing the "unspeakably violent" movie Django Unchained to "date night for Rihanna and Chris Brown." However, Breezy dimissed the joke saying, "Other people can judge us but they don’t know anything."
