According to TMZ, Lil Wayne was admitted to Cedars-Sinai hospital in L.A. this past Tuesday after suffering from seizures. He was released Wednesday. Sources told the site that, “he is doing much better.”

Last October, he was hospitalized after two mid-air seizure-like episodes that grounded two separate flights. The first forced his private jet, which was heading to L.A., to make an emergency landing in Texas, where he was hospitalized for a few hours.

A statement from his reps revealed that it was a combination of a migraine headache and dehydration: “Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.”

The next day, leaving from his Louisiana home, his flight again was grounded after he suffered similar symptoms. He was hospitalized for the second time and placed on medication.

This is not the first time mid-air health attacks grounded a hardworking rapper. In 2011, Rick Ross survived back-to-back seizures aboard two separate flights. He later said that his episodes were due to exhaustion. In April 2012, a seizure forced Bawse to cancel a concert in Guyana.

Weezy was reportedly on the set of a music video just before he was hospitalized this week.

Migraines and dehydration, especially, can be symptoms of exhaustion.

Weezy’s latest (and tenth) studio album, I Am Not a Human Being 2, is scheduled for release March 26th. He recently released a new single featuring 2 Chainz, “Rich As F--k.”
