A Young Money publicist gave an official statement to CNN saying, "We can confirm that Lil Wayne did have a seizure and that he is recovering." Earlier, a person in Lil Wayne's camp, speaking anonymously, also confirmed to the Associated Press that the rapper did indeed have a seizure today. The source didn't comment on Weezy's prognosis. However, T.I. tweeted that he spoke to Wayne, saying "just holla'd @my Lil bruh Tunechi...& he skraight!"
TMZ now reports that Lil Wayne has stabilized, according to sources inside Cedars-Sinai hospital. Still, the site claims the rapper's prognosis is uncertain. Though the site says he's sleeping, Weezy just tweeted the following message to his fans: "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love."
Hopefully this means the worst is over for the rapper.
