Gucci Mane Still Behind Bars After Bond Denied

The Atlanta rapper will likely remain in jail for a month after allegedly assaulting fan.

The Trap God is still trapped. Yesterday, March 27, Gucci Mane was arrested after evading a warrant for several days. He’s been charged with two counts of assault after allegedly hitting a U.S. Army soldier, who was seeking an autograph, with a bottle.

In a hearing later that day, Gucci Mane was denied bond, meaning that the rapper will likely remain incarcerated until his April 10 court date. Gucci, who's been in trouble with the law before, is believed to be in Fulton County Jail.

"Mr. Davis has a history, we’re not going to skirt that issue," Gucci’s lawyer Drew Findling told press outside of the courthouse. "That history made it difficult for him to get bond today."

Findling went on to say that there aren't confirmed witnesses of the alleged attack, which happened in an Atlanta club less than a week ago.
