Looks like you really can teach an old Dogg new tricks. Since a life-changing trip to Jamaica last year, the LBC gangsta rapper Snoop Dogg has beein "Reincarnated" as Snoop Lion, with a documentary in theaters now and a reggae album dropping April 23.

During a recent interview with Huffington Post, Snoop shared his views on Proposition 8, a state amendment banning gay marriage in California — which is currently being reviewed by the Supreme Court.

"People can do what they want and as they please," he said. "Satisfy yourself accordingly. I have no issues with nobody, I live for me and I live my life doing what I do, so you should have the right to do whatever you want to do."

That doesn’t sound like the views expressed back in The Chronic era. Looks like Snoop really is a changed man. With any luck, maybe he can spread some of that one love spirit to his fellow reggae and rap artists.

Bow-wow-wow yippy-yo yippy-yay, Doggy Dogg will definitely be in the house as part of the BET Experience on June 29 at the Staples Center along with Kendrick LamarScHoolboy Q and Miguel.
