CharlieRED to Perform at Music Matters Showcase

The dynamic blues-hip hop duo will take the stage at SOB’s in NYC.

Music Matters, BET’s monthly showcase at SOB’s, has been known to bring a variety of sounds to its audiences. Everything from hip hop to neo-soul has graced the stage, creating a diverse musical experience. Tomorrow night (May 14th), the showcase will feature much talked about soul band CharlieRED. The duo, consisting of vocalist/songwriter Rocki Evans and producer Cobaine Ivory, who dropped their latest EP, Religion, back in December, has been catching a lot of buzz.

Come check out their boom bap beats mixed with classic smooth soul lyrics for yourself along with performances from singer Robbie Nova, singer Major The Crooner, hip/soul artist Layne Harper, rapper Q Dot and singer Suzy Q.

Hosting the showcase will be Buttahman and Vanessa Fraction along with DJ Lyve. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the first performer will hit the stage at 8 p.m. You must be 21+ to attend the event.
