Diddy's Maybach Pulled Over at Gunpoint

L.A. County deputies search mogul's $500K vehicle for weapons.

Sean "Diddy" Combs is known to ride in style, a move which got his entourage involved in a case of mistaken identity Wednesday (May 15). TMZ reports that the mogul's Mercedes Maybach was pulled over after an anonymous 911 call claimed that someone in the luxury vehicle had a firearm.
The driver of the $500,000 car was stopped just after dropping Diddy off at the Soho House, a posh private club in West Hollywood. L.A. County Sheriff's deputies wasted no time pulling out their guns, and ordering everyone — the driver and another passenger — out of the vehicle and onto the pavement.
Despite temporarily closing down the streets surrounding the area, a police search turned up not a single a weapon.
The incident may have been the result of a prankster looking to cause a commotion, but Diddy was too preoccupied with his big announcement to harp on the incident. The 43-year-old claimed to have landed a role on the ITV/PBS show Downton Abbey. "MY BIG NEWS: So happy to announce that Im a series regular on DOWNTON ABBEY-my favorite show+i'll be debuting a sneak peek tonight 12 am PST," he tweeted yesterday.

What followed was Downton Diddy, a satirical video posted on Funny or Die, in which the Bad Boy front man was inserted into various Abbey scenes.
