Justin Bieber Cleared in Hit-and-Run
Justin Bieber can breathe a sigh of relief.
The Los Angeles District Attorney has declined to prosecute the young superstar after a paparazzo accused him of a hit-and-run last month, TMZ reports. The D.A. cited lack of significant evidence as the reason for rejecting the shutterbug's case.
Bieber, who has been in trouble with the law a few times in the past year, reportedly pinned a photographer between his Ferrari and a parked car upon leaving a West Hollywood night club. Bieber and his entourage were bombarded by paps when they exited the club and were so blinded by their bulbs, they couldn't see their way out of the parking lot.
Prosecutors say there was "insufficient evidence to prove that Bieber knowingly left the scene of a collision in which someone was injured."
