Kanye West Praises French Paparazzi
Kanye West doesn't have a problem with all photographers, just the ones who ask him questions and stalk him at his house. In France for Paris Fashion Week with his significant other, Kim Kardashian, West had a friendly run-in with Parisian paparazzi and took the opportunity to explain why he prefers their style over what he's encountered in Los Angeles.
"I like how you guys move out here. You've got total respect for yourselves, you have respect for the people that you're photographing, and you also take time off at like 8 o'clock — you're not around people's houses and stuff like that — and I really appreciate that and respect that," he said.
The "N---as in Paris" producer/rapper continued with an extended hand. "And I understand that you have to make a living, so let me shake your hand. I appreciate that."
The encounter was much different than the tense ones he's had stateside recently. West is reportedly filing charges against a pap for trespassing after a run-in at 4 a.m. in his driveway. He is also facing a lawsuit and a potential criminal battery charge for a run-in that got physical at LAX.
On multiple occasions, West, whose father was a photojournalist, has said he wants to "change" how the paps operate.
