Singer ditches luxury pad after break-in and stalker issues.
Rihanna has moved out of her Pacific Palisades, Calif. mansion less than a year after she purchased the property, TMZ reports. Various break-ins and stalker incidents reportedly forced the "Pour It Up" singer out.
Although moving vans were spotted hauling away Rih Rih's things Tuesday (Oct. 8), a source says she hasn't been to the house in over two months.
Police were called to the location numerous times and arrested an attempted burglar there as recently as last weekend, when the alarm company monitoring the home "saw the suspect via surveillance attempting to break in the house," said Los Angeles Police Officer Bruce Borihanh.
Rihanna bought the $12 million Southern California estate last December. Trouble started just two months later, when a crazed male fan pleaded guilty to breaking in and sleeping in what he thought was her bed.
In addition to break-ins, in April she became the victim of a "swatting" prank while living there.
The superstar will be spending more time in New York City, but is said to be looking for a new spot in L.A.
